Being Happy with the Woman I’m becoming

When I tell you that I have struggled, you wouldn’t believe my pain.

I was bitter, confused, unfocused and so much more but I turn to God. It’s when we are at our weakest, that’s when God shows up.

I felt stuck, I felt like a failure in so many ways in my life and I just wanted to give up but my faith is what’s getting me through.

As I grew closer to God, I started reading and studying more ways to better myself. The Bible does say faith without work is dead, so I put in the work to better understand myself. I studied meditation, yoga, chakra healing, and learning to pray more.

I am still a work in progress but I am no longer that woman of my past. I hold myself accountable for my actions and I realize my wrongs and I try to do better. I look at the positive in every situation so I don’t fall back into a place of negativity.

I am still working to become better but I am proud of who I am becoming. A strong black woman with God on her side who is confident and knows her worth.

I pray that the person reading this discovers their worth and be happy with who they are.

I leave you with love, peace, happiness, and positivity. Namaste.
