What do I mean by showing humility? Now, this is my opinion and experience, so I hope you get the message that I’m trying to convey.

What is humility? a modest or low view of one’s importance; humbleness. This means showing that we’re showing a respectful way of what God has done and continues to do in your life.

Now we live in a world that’s self-absorbed. What is self-absorbed? preoccupied with one’s feelings, interests, or situation. This means that we give all our accomplishments and success to ourselves. So what is the problem with this? We worked hard and put in blood, sweat, and tears why not take the accomplishment for ourselves?

Allow me to explain why, first and foremost I put God first in all that I do because without Him there would be no success. He gives me the strength to work hard, to keep pushing because I have the type of faith where I don’t believe He would get me this far to fail. In all that I do I give all glory and praise to God. I’ve humbled myself before Him and He has yet to let me down.

Instead of giving yourself the glory and praise, give it to God because He is the one who gives you the strength, ability, and wisdom to prosper.
